Greetings in the name of Lord Jesus to you!. We welcome you to know about our ministry, our church, our activities and ... other things about us.

My Name is Ebenezer, I am Tamil speaking, and was born in Tamil Nadu, India in 1946. My father had business interests in Sri Lanka and so my family moved to Sri Lanka in 1949. I had my education in Sri Lanka and continued to live there till 1976 mainly in and around Colombo. I got married in 1971 and my wife, Soma Ebenezer, is from Kerala, India. We received a definite call from God to full-time Christian ministry and joined a missionary group in 1972.. We left Sri Lanka in 1976 for India and continued to serve the Lord in Bangalore with FEBA-India, a Christian broadcasting organisation till April 1982 and started the Tamil Church, along with Brother Jonathan Eden, in July 1982.We started with a handful of people and we now have over 500 people who fellowship with us. On average, we have about 300 every Sunday for our evening service at Manor Park, London, including Children.

The growth has not just been in numbers. We have been people came to faith in Christ and many becoming mature believers and some entering full-time and others doing part-time ministries. We are grateful to God for what He is doing in our midst, and are exited about the future too.

Our evening services at Manor Park & Newbury Park and our morning services at ILford & Walthamstow are in Tamil with Sunday schools in Tamil & English. Besides the Sunday worship services, we have other smaller meetings for men, women, youth and children. Our church is composed largely of Tamil from Sri Lanka but there are also many from Tamil Nadu and others from Singapore and Malaysia. Many who used to worship with us are now in other parts of the world such us Canada & Australia and keep in touch with us. We like to think of ourselves as a large and loving family of God's people.

We have people from different denominations such as Anglican, CSI (Church of South India), Methodist, Pentecostal and the Brethren. We worship happily together and thank God for the unity of Spirit we have. You will be most welcome to either visit us or to worship with us regularly.

Soma Ebenezer, my wife and I have four sons: Christian aged 32, Judah aged 28 (married), Jonathan aged 24 (married) and Timothy aged 20. They all know the Lord and are a joy to hearts as are our daughter-in-laws Deborah & Annabel.

Pray for us and visit us. We are waiting to be God's channel of blessings in your lives. Come with your problems, heart-aches and sorrows, we will seek God's face together and receive the peace He offers to every one.
